Irish Blessing – The Blessing of the Road

 

May the road rise to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

invites you into the realm of true giving where you and the other are not separate. On the hilltop you simply see the world in a different way. Out of this seeing you will act. It will not arise out of a sense of separateness but out of the truth of Oneness. This is a different degree of charity. It has a more holy and healing resonance. It goes further in time because from the hilltop it rains down without judgment, without condition and without limitation.
